We went for a quick brunch at this spot. It's located near lake Merritt. It was easy to find and easy parking. Remember to pay at the meter because they are always giving tickets around that area. Food was 3.5/5. The place was very spacious and great for groups. They were very nice and came back to check up on us a few times. We did get asked a few times to not speak loud, but that could of been because it wasn't very busy and our voices echoed.

Quaint, cute, and cozy. The cafe is a great place to people watch over a hearty delicious meal. I've started to put this cafe in heavy rotation as the food and mimosas are a great way to start a Saturday. The staff was quick to seat and serve us, coming to refill coffee three times. They were helpful in providing suggestions about the best items on the menu. I've been a few times, and have not had a bad meal yet. They even have good food for non-carnivores as well.

this place is so good dude u just gotta go. the prices are good. the food is delicious. they serve big portions. it's not gourmet! it's good diner food. the ambiance is serene. it's peaceful. it's like your friend's backyard. the indoor area is cute, too. the service was OK. i had to be a little patient. that's good, right? practicing patience. but yeah i highly recommend checking out lakeshore cafe. you will like it. you'll be like, "man, i wish breakfast time would come sooner so i can go back to lakeshore cafe." yep.
